The Upper Cumberland CORE office is pleased to provide information about our upcoming RTI2 PLC series for the 2018-19 school year.
This PLC is the second in a progressive series of three sessions designed to give you the opportunity to apply continuous learning in your district and building(s). We will discuss effective practices for math intervention and discuss specifics like: foundational skills, addition, subtraction, place value, multiplication and division. Participants will be able to identify effective intervention practices and use this information to refine their instruction within their school or district.
Administrators will have the opportunity to earn 9 or 12 TASL credit hours for attending three or four RTI² PLCs this year. Participants must attend three or four PLCs, in order to, receive TASL credit.
PLC 2 - Intervening for Foundational Skills, Addition, and Subtraction - October 22 or Oct. 29 8:30-12:00 - Regional Health Department (1100 England Drive, Cookeville TN)
PLC 3 - Intervening for Place Value, Multiplication, and Division - January 14 or 15 8:30-12:00 - Location TBA
PLC 4 - Intervening for Multiplication and Divsion - February 11 or 14 8:30-12:00 - Regional Health Department - 1100 England Drive, Cookeville
